Rev. David Q. Marks
Mr. David Q. Marks, born in Malakoff, Texas, obtained his B.S in Chemistry from Paul Quin College at Waco Texas. At Sucher Packing Company, Rev. Marks became the first Black Chemist in the States of Ohio to work in a meat packing company.
Afterwards, he was a Chemist at Mound Laboratories (Miamisburg, OH) and at General Motors (Dayton, Ohio). Mr. Marks obtained a Bachelor's in Business from Miami Jacob in Dayton, Ohio and completed continuing education classes at University of Dayton and completed classes at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
He combined his knowledge in Business and Chemistry and created his company know as Mark's Pest Control. Throughout his life, Rev. Marks pastored the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Middletown, Ohio for 28 years. After retiring in 2012, he has now developed a pain relieving rub, known as Marks, Natural Therapeutic Heat Rub L.L.C.
